Alumni – Nitty Scott, MC
In late 2006, at an industry event, we met a father promoting his daughter’s music. She went by the name Lady Hard Body at the time, but after a few conversations and meetings, we decided to bring her onto the label. Believing the name wasn’t the right fit for someone so young, we introduced her as Nitty Scott.
Over the next year, we worked on several projects together, from early recordings to photo shoots that began shaping her image and sound. Though personal circumstances led her to move to New York at just 17, the foundation of her artistry was already in place from her time in Florida. Her talent was undeniable even then, and it was clear she was destined to shine. We’re proud to have played a role in those early steps that helped launch her into the career she continues to build today.
